Special Section on 6G related Technologies, Applications, Requirements, Use-cases, and Futuristic Scenarios
Considering the recent massive amount of activities going on regarding future 6G communication systems, this special issue is dedicated to bringing together contributions by academic researchers, industrial practitioners, and individuals working on this emerging exciting research areas to share their new ideas, latest findings, identify and discuss potential use cases, open research problems, technical challenges, use cases, scenarios, solution methods in this context.
The goal of this special issue is to solicit the recent research and developments related to future 6G networks with more focus on emerging technologies, techniques, methods, designs, and schemes that can enable the realization of diverse set of applications with various requirements including ultra high speed, low latency, low complexity, low cost, high power efficiency, and massive connectivity communication with a vision of their potential advancement into future wireless communication systems.

This study explores the challenges faced by farmers and service providers when using shared spectrum bands to deploy their networks while ensuring maximum system performance and minimizing interference with other users.
In this article, security design requirements for non-orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and solutions provided by Physical Layer Security (PLS) to fulfill these requirements are discussed. The merits and challenges encountered while employing PLS to NOMA are identified.
The authors propose the use of an intelligent physical layer security framework for V2X communication, called intelligent V2X security (IV2XS), to provide a reliable and robust solution capable of adapting to different conditions, scenarios and user requirements.
